Valvetronic is the boldest festival brassband from the Netherlands, based on and inspired by EDM and HipHop music:
Music to dance on played on some drums and a lot of horns. Valvetronic presents a bold, loud and energetic show that will make you dance and jump for the whole night, without a doubt.
Valvetronic is a twelve-headed festival brassband from Amsterdam. The combination of valves, the buttons on a trumpet, and the preference for electronic music led to the name Valvetronic. The first gig of Valvetronic was in februari 2018 and took place in Paradiso, the most well-known pop venue of the Netherlands. Over the years, they developed a festival show based on danceable music including popular contemporary electronic music. All songs are written by band members themselves. With a lot of summer shows the past years, there is always a chance to catch the boys breaking down a stage on big festivals like North Sea Jazz, Zwarte Cross, Jazz in Duketown, Oerol, Bevrijdingsfestival Amsterdam, So What’s Next, Madnes Festival, Sunny Side Up and many more to follow!
From 2025 they stepped into the world of hiphop for their latest album. As a real hiphop orchestra they’ve written an epic album around thirteen vocalists creating a powerful, melancholic and compelling musical journey. Valvetronic re-establishes themselves with this album in the Dutch festival scene, but mostly created an ode to hiphop. They worked together with established names as Pete Philly (Pete Philly and Perquisite), Reazun and Pax the humanoid (both from Kyteman Orchestra), Ntjam Rosie and upcoming names like Kay Slice, Jay Collin and Benjamin Fro. An organic hybrid of energetic vocalists, acoustic brass and electronic productions: this is an explosion of beats, brass and bars that you need to have witnessed in person!
